We’re Glad you’re here.
Sentry Aging is an educational and consulting platform created to bring greater clarity to the decisions that come with aging.
Founded by healthcare professionals with firsthand experience working with older adults and their families, Sentry brings together reliable information, thoughtfully selected resources, and a healthcare perspective on aging well.
Today, Sentry is led by Kayla Fluder, DPT, CAPS with a focus on helping older adults and their families make informed decisions, plan for what’s ahead, and preserve independence and quality of life along the way.
Whether you’re here for a trusted resource, a little direction, or more personalized support, we’re glad you found us.
Sentry Aging began in 2025 with a simple idea: aging is complicated, but finding trustworthy information and support shouldn’t be.
Sentry was co-founded by Kayla Fluder, DPT, CAPS, and Dina Holland, MS, CCC-SLP, CDP, two healthcare professionals who saw many of the same challenges from different sides of the care system. Together, they created a space to share practical education, professional insights, and resources for older adults and the people who support them.
What started as a collection of curated articles and resources grew into something more—an opportunity to help individuals and families navigate the decisions that come with aging with greater clarity and confidence.
Today, Sentry Aging is owned and led by Kayla Fluder and has expanded to include personalized consulting alongside its educational resources. As a co-founder, Dina helped shape Sentry’s early foundation, and the articles she authored remain among the educational resources available on the site.
The mission that started Sentry remains at its core: to make reliable guidance easier to find and help people feel more prepared for what comes next.
